2. How do I choose the right size for my space?
Measure the available width, depth and height where you plan to place the ottoman. Leave enough room to walk around it and remove the lid comfortably. If you plan to use it as a footrest, compare its height with your sofa or chair seat.
3. Where can I find the product dimensions?
Dimensions are listed in the specifications on each product page. Check the measurement labels carefully: rectangular styles use length, width and height, while round styles may use diameter and height. Interior storage measurements, when provided, refer to the usable compartment rather than the outside of the ottoman.
4. What materials are used in your ottomans?
Depending on the style, upholstery options include woven polyester, corduroy, boucle, velvet and PU faux leather. Selected designs also feature wooden feet. Please check the product page for the materials used in the specific ottoman you are considering.
5. Is PU faux leather genuine leather?
No. PU faux leather is a synthetic upholstery material with a leather-like appearance. Products described as PU or faux leather should not be understood to contain genuine leather upholstery.
6. How do I access the storage compartment?
The featured designs use a lift-off lid. Remove the lid and place it on a stable surface before adding or removing items. Keep the compartment below its upper edge so the lid can sit properly when replaced.
7. What can I store inside an ottoman?
Depending on the compartment size, suitable items may include small throws, cushion covers, magazines and other lightweight household essentials. Store only clean, dry items, and avoid overfilling the compartment. Check the interior dimensions if you have a particular item in mind.
8. Do the ottomans require assembly?
Assembly varies by design. Foldable styles may require opening the body and positioning the base and lid, while wood-foot styles may require attaching the feet. Follow the instructions supplied with your specific product and check the product page for any assembly requirements before ordering.
9. Can all of the ottomans be folded flat?
No. Only styles specifically described as foldable are intended to fold for storage. Detachable feet do not mean that the upholstered body can be collapsed. Empty the compartment and follow the model’s instructions before folding a foldable ottoman.
10. Can I use an ottoman as a seat or step stool?
Only use a model for seating if its product page explicitly states that it is suitable for that purpose and provides a supported weight limit. Do not assume that a padded top means an ottoman is designed for sitting. Ottomans should not be used as step stools or climbing platforms.
11. How should I clean my ottoman?
